The course you are enlisting in is valid for 1 year from the day the link is sent to you by International Driving School
This entails that your online course and 10 hours on the road must be completed and signed off within 1 year of beginning the course
The driving lessons provided will be in the region you are enrolling from
Driving lessons will be one-on-one
Road lesson cancellations require a minimum of 24 hour notice
Failure to do so will result in a penalty of $40/per hour
Upon successful completion of the course, students can pick up their driver license history (Certificate) from Service Ontario.

He was patient and always made sure I understood all the rules of the road and how to improve my driving. When I started the lessons I had barely driven and now, I feel confident behind the wheel. Do I need a G1 licence to register?

No. You can register and complete the classroom portion without one. You will need your G1 before in-car training begins.

How long is the course valid?

One year from your start date. Both the classroom hours and all 10 in-car hours must be completed and signed off within that period.

How soon can I take my G2 test after finishing?

Once you hold your G1 for 8 months and have completed an approved BDE course, you’re eligible to book. We’ll advise on timing before you
book — we recommend waiting for your instructor’s assessment rather than booking in advance.

Where do I get my completion certificate?

Your completion is filed with the Ministry. Collect your Driver’s Licence History from any ServiceOntario location and provide it to your insurer.

What if I need to cancel a lesson?

24 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 24 hours, a $40 per hour fee applies.
